This policy explains what data the mobile game Cog and Balls, made by Magua Games, collects, why, and who it is shared with. It covers both versions of the game:
Magua Games, email: contact@maguagames.pl
Your level progress, coins, bought skins and settings are saved only on your phone. We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or exact location, and the game has no user accounts.
To see which levels are too hard or too easy, the game sends play data to GameAnalytics (GameAnalytics ApS, Denmark):
This data is used only to improve the game. See the GameAnalytics privacy policy.
The game shows ads from Google AdMob: an optional ad you can watch to open the Cog Bank, and a short ad between some levels. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google AdMob collects and shares:
On Android you can reset your advertising ID or turn off personalised ads in your phone settings (Settings, Google, Ads).
On iPhone the game asks once whether it may track you (Apple's App Tracking Transparency). If you allow it, AdMob may use your advertising ID (IDFA) to show ads that fit you better. If you do not, the game works exactly the same, the advertising ID is not shared, and you see less personalised ads. You can change your answer at any time in Settings, Privacy and Security, Tracking.
Players in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and can change their choice later. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
If you buy "Remove ads", the payment is handled by Google Play on Android or by the Apple App Store on iPhone. We never see your payment details. The game only learns whether you own "Remove ads", so it can turn ads off and restore the purchase on a new phone.
All data the game sends is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Cog and Balls is made for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We do not store personal data ourselves. GameAnalytics and Google keep data according to their own policies linked above. Uninstalling the game deletes everything saved on your phone. You can ask us about your data, or ask for it to be deleted, at the email address above.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
